Credit card debt can be stressful we all know that for sure. Stressing out over your credit cards in this kind of economy is the last thing you want to do. So I thought I would explain the easiest ways to eliminate credit card debt.
Many of your financial advisors will recommend that you sit down and list your credit cards and their interest rates. Compare the interest rates of all your credit cards and put the ones with the highest interest rate on top! These are obviously the ones you want to pay off first so that way you do not accumulate even more credit card debt.
Although there is another method similar to the one above, it is called the “Snowball” method. You perform the same actions, form a list. Although the difference is that you make a list based on the largest balance to the lowest. You then need to start paying of the ones with the highest balances to swiftly eradicate those massive balances! So setup a budget a month on how much you should pay these larger balances and pay the minimum on the rest. As you eliminate this credit card debt you will find that you have more money to pay off the smaller balances!
